Technical Information about The Triangle Theater

The Triangle Theater

The all-new Triangle Theater is located in Philadelphia's historic Olde Kensington neighborhood.
This unique, four-story, triangular, red brick building, constructed in the mid-1800's, originally housed a factory that made plumbing molds. For the past twenty years, the building has been a private residence and artist studio with four SoHo-style loft apartments.

In October 2001, Jane Stojak and her partners acquired the building and began extensive renovations to restore the building's crumbling façade and prevent future deterioration. Inside, the first floor is being transformed into a 50-seat performance and exhibition space -- the first professional live theater in a vibrant, revitalized community.

Also in October 2001, Random Acts of Theater, Inc. took up residence in the Triangle Theater. In addition to offering a wide array of acting classes, R.A.T., Inc. will continue to produce a variety of live performances, including drama, comedy and music.
